In a marriage or any relationship happiness comes with contentment. You know you are in love- when no matter how much time you spend with each other, you still miss that person when he/she leaves.

But certain guidelines or golden rules if followed will become a cemented base of a deep rooted relationship. If you put your spouse first, your marriage will last you a lifetime.to make it last for a lifetime, give it the attention and effort it deserves.

Rules or the tips for a happy marriage are:

1. Let your spouse win the argument. Nothing is more satisfactory and prudent in losing in front of your spouse. You win the heart of the person hands down.

2. Both should never be angry at the same time. Will not be worth the effort from any side.

3. Yelling, no matter how angry one is ……..should be avoided at all cost unless the house is on fire.

4. Criticism which is wrapped up in the beautiful emotion of love is like hitting someone with fresh scented roses.

5. Let bygones be bygones…. Bringing mistakes from the past is itself a very big mistake.

6. Your spouse is your universe. Neglect the whole world rather than each other.

7. Sleeping over an unresolved issue is a big no-no.

8. Compliments to your partner at least once a day is like sunshine on a rainy windy day.

9. Admitting your mistakes and seeking forgiveness is divine

10. It takes two to make a quarrel, the one who talks the most in it is the one who is usually on the wrong side.
